The tools below give you straight pricing ranges, sizing math, drainage scoping, problem diagnostics, and storm prep checklists for free, with no email required for most of them. Use them to scope your project, sanity-check another contractor's quote, or just understand what you are looking at before you spend a dollar.

Every tool reflects what we actually quote and install in Jacksonville, Ponte Vedra, Nocatee, St. Johns County, the Beaches, Fernandina, Orange Park, and St. Augustine. Built by Owner Albert Urbank, NDS Certified, and the same crew that installs across Northeast Florida every week.

Tool FAQ

How does the Gutter Cost Calculator work?
You enter linear footage, gutter size (6, 7, or 8 inch), story count, and downspout count. The calculator returns an itemized installed-price estimate calibrated to current Gutter Pro Jacksonville-area pricing, including material, labor, hangers, downspouts, and basic Schedule 40 PVC underground extensions. Drainage scopes beyond standard extensions are quoted separately.
How accurate are the calculators?
For Jacksonville-area residential projects, the Gutter Cost Calculator and Drainage Cost Calculator land within roughly 10 to 15 percent of the final on-site quote in most cases. Variables that move the number include roof complexity, fascia condition, soffit damage hidden behind existing gutters, and drainage routing constraints. A free on-site walk produces a binding number.
Do I need to enter personal information to use the tools?
No for most of them. The calculators, sizing tool, diagnostic, and glossary do not require an email. The Hurricane Prep Checklist PDF download and the Pricing Report optionally collect an email if you want the PDF delivered to you, but you can use the on-page interactive versions without giving anything up.
Do you sell my information?
No. We do not sell, rent, or trade contact information to third parties. If you provide an email for a PDF download, you are added to a low-volume Gutter Pro newsletter that you can unsubscribe from with one click. That is the entire data flow.
What is the difference between the Gutter Cost Calculator and the Sizing Calculator?
The Gutter Cost Calculator returns a price. The Sizing Calculator returns a gutter size (6, 7, or 8 inch) and a recommended downspout count based on roof math. Most homeowners use the Sizing Calculator first to confirm the right profile, then run the Cost Calculator with that size to get a budget number.
How is the National Gutter Cost Calculator different from the Jacksonville version?
The Jacksonville Gutter Cost Calculator is calibrated to Northeast Florida labor and material rates. The National Gutter Cost Calculator applies regional adjusters for labor and material costs outside Florida, so a homeowner in Atlanta, Charlotte, or Houston gets a ballpark closer to their local market. Both tools share the same underlying gutter math.
Can the diagnostic tool replace an on-site inspection?
No. The Gutter Problems Diagnostic narrows down likely root causes based on symptoms you can see from the ground. It does not replace looking inside the gutter, checking the hangers, pulling a downspout, or inspecting hidden fascia and soffit damage. Use it to walk into a service call already knowing what is probably wrong.
What is the Gutter Guard Picker?
A short quiz that asks about your tree canopy (oak, pine, palm, mixed), roof type, debris load, and budget, then recommends the right gutter guard. It covers LeafBlaster Pro stainless micromesh, Alu-Rex Double-Pro continuous covers, and standard micromesh options. The output is a recommendation, not a sales pitch.
What does the Drainage Cost Calculator include?
Schedule 40 PVC underground downspout extensions, French drains, foundation drainage, channel drains across driveways, and sump pump installations. You enter linear footage and drainage type. The calculator returns an installed price calibrated to Florida soil conditions and the NDS Certified standards we install to.
What is in the Florida Pricing Report?
A statewide breakdown of what gutter and drainage projects actually cost in Florida. Sections cover Jacksonville and Northeast Florida, Tampa Bay, Orlando and Central Florida, South Florida, and the Panhandle. Price ranges are broken out by gutter size, material (aluminum vs copper), and scope (gutters only vs gutters plus drainage).
How often is the Pricing Report updated?
The Florida Gutter Pricing Report is updated each season, four times a year, to reflect changes in aluminum coil pricing, labor rates, and fuel costs that move the installed price up or down. The publication date is listed on the report itself.
Do you have a free quote scheduling tool?
Yes. The booking link at the top of this page (and on every Gutter Pro page) opens the Jobber scheduler. Pick a time that works for you, share your address and a quick scope note, and Owner Albert will confirm the on-site walk, typically within 48 hours.
How does the Hurricane Recovery Guide work?
It walks you through the first 48 hours after a storm in priority order. Safety first, then damage documentation, insurance contact sequence, contractor coordination, and longer-term repair planning. It is built specifically for gutter, fascia, soffit, and drainage damage, not whole-house storm damage.
What is the Hurricane Claim Helper?
A worksheet that helps you organize a gutter and drainage damage claim for your homeowners insurance carrier. Photo checklist, written damage description template, contractor estimate template, and adjuster meeting prep. Use it before you call the insurance company so you walk in organized.
Can I download the Hurricane Prep Checklist?
Yes. The Hurricane Prep Checklist is available as an interactive on-page version or a downloadable PDF. The PDF is email-gated. The interactive version is not.
Is the Florida Rainfall by ZIP data real?
Yes. The data is sourced from NOAA and the National Weather Service rainfall records. We aggregate annual rainfall, peak rainfall intensity, and hurricane-season rainfall into one ZIP-level lookup so homeowners can confirm what gutter sizing makes sense for their address.
Where does the rainfall data come from?
NOAA precipitation records and the National Weather Service Atlas 14 rainfall intensity dataset. We map those records to Florida ZIP codes and display the local averages alongside our gutter sizing math.
What is the Soffit and Fascia Damage Guide?
A photo-driven reference that shows the most common soffit and fascia damage patterns we see in Northeast Florida, including water-rotted fascia behind failing gutters, soffit pest intrusion, paint failure from overflow, and structural rot at the rafter tail. Use it to identify what is happening on your house before you call.
What is in the glossary?
Plain-English definitions of every gutter and drainage term we use on a quote. K-style, half-round, box, seamless, sectional, Alu-Rex Double-Pro or traditional hanger, LeafBlaster Pro, French drain, channel drain, catch basin, daylight outlet, pop-up emitter, Schedule 40 PVC, HDPE, downspout extension, and dozens more.
Can I embed these tools on my own site?
Not at this time. Calculators and tools are built for Gutter Pro Florida customers and are not available as embeds or white-label widgets. If you are a partner, designer, or builder and want to share a link to a tool from your own site, that is encouraged. Just link to the page.
Can builders or contractors use these tools?
Yes. Builders, GCs, architects, and landscape designers use the Sizing Calculator and Drainage Cost Calculator to scope work before subcontracting it out. If you want a contractor referral discount or volume pricing for builder work, call 904-304-3199 and ask for Albert.
How do these tools compare to home improvement big-box-store calculators?
The big-box calculators are sized for DIY purchase decisions, so they price materials only and assume 5-inch sectional aluminum. Our tools price installed work, assume 6, 7, or 8-inch seamless aluminum, include hangers, downspouts, and basic underground PVC, and reflect what real Northeast Florida installs actually cost.
How do I share a tool result with a partner or family member?
Each calculator has a share-link button that copies a URL with your inputs preserved. Send that link by text or email and the recipient sees the same result you saw. Some tools also export a PDF summary for printing or attachment.
Do you have a mobile-friendly version?
Yes. Every tool is built to work on a phone first. Most of our quote requests come in from a phone in someone's driveway looking up at their gutters. The tools are sized for that workflow.
What if I have questions while using a tool?
Call or text 904-304-3199. Albert or one of the team will walk through the tool with you and confirm the result. There is no cost and no obligation to schedule an install.
Do you offer commercial calculators?
Not as a public tool yet. Commercial gutter and drainage work uses a different pricing model that depends on roof type (TPO, modified bitumen, standing seam), wall height, parapet conditions, and code-driven downspout placement. Call 904-304-3199 for a commercial quote.
Do these tools work for properties outside Florida?
The National Gutter Cost Calculator adjusts for regional labor and material rates outside Florida. The Sizing Calculator and the Glossary are accurate anywhere. The Drainage Cost Calculator, the Pricing Report, and the Florida Rainfall by ZIP tool are Florida-specific.
Can the calculators handle copper or specialty installs?
The Gutter Cost Calculator includes a material toggle for aluminum vs copper. Copper pricing runs roughly four to seven times aluminum, so the spread on a single home can be wide. For specialty work (custom box gutters, restoration projects, ornamental copper), call for a tailored quote rather than relying on the calculator.
Do you offer a tool API?
No public API at this time. If you are a partner with a real integration use case (insurance carrier, real estate platform, builder portal), call 904-304-3199 and ask for Albert. We are open to conversations.
How do I provide feedback on a tool?
Call or text 904-304-3199 or email Info@GutterProFlorida.com. We update the tools based on customer feedback every quarter. If something is broken, confusing, or returning a number that does not match your real quote, we want to know.
