Gutter Pro Florida wants every homeowner on the First Coast to be able to use this website, including people who browse with a screen reader, navigate by keyboard, rely on captions, or need larger text and higher contrast.

Standard we are working to

We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These are the guidelines referenced in most U.S. accessibility practice, including under the Americans with Disabilities Act.

We describe this as work in progress rather than a finished claim. Accessibility is not a one-time fix — every new page, photo, and calculator we publish has to be checked again.

What we have done

  • Reviewed every page template against WCAG 2.1 AA in September 2026.
  • Corrected text and background color combinations that did not meet the 4.5:1 contrast minimum, including the site footer and the main call-to-action button.
  • Confirmed that every page has a single main heading and a logical heading order that screen readers can navigate.
  • Confirmed that images carry alternative text.
  • Kept a visible "Skip to Content" link and a clear keyboard focus outline on links, buttons, and form fields.
  • Added support for the operating system "reduce motion" setting, so scroll animations are switched off for people who find movement uncomfortable.

Known limitations

We would rather tell you what still needs work than claim the site is perfect:

  • Some blog listing links read as "Read More" without the article title. We are correcting these.
  • Our contact form is provided by our website platform and contains one unlabeled anti-spam field that a screen reader may announce.
  • Third-party content we embed — scheduling, reviews, and mapping tools — is not fully under our control. If one of these blocks you, call or email us and we will complete the task with you directly.
  • Older photographs may have shorter alternative text than we would write today.

If something on this site blocks you

Nothing about our service requires you to use this website. Every quote, booking, and question can be handled by phone, by email, or in person during a free on-site walk. If a printed document, quote, or invoice would be easier for you in large print, just ask.

Assessment approach

This statement is based on a self-assessment carried out in September 2026 using automated testing across our page templates plus manual review of headings, alternative text, form labels, keyboard focus, and color contrast. It has not been reviewed by an independent third-party auditor.
