One Contractor. One Warranty. One Phone Number.

A lifetime warranty is only as good as the contractor standing behind it. We have heard that line from every homeowner who hired the cheapest gutter installer in town, watched a hanger pull loose after the first hurricane, and then could not get the install company on the phone.

Gutter Pro Florida operates the opposite way. Owner Albert Urbank is on every project and is the same person who answers warranty calls years after install. The lifetime workmanship warranty is written, layered with manufacturer warranties on materials and gutter guards, and tied to the property and the homeowner who hired us. This page lays out exactly what is covered, what is not, how the warranty works, and how to file a claim if you ever need to.

What Our Lifetime Workmanship Warranty Covers

The Gutter Pro lifetime workmanship warranty covers everything we install, fabricate, fasten, route, or modify as part of a Gutter Pro scope. If the work is in our invoice, it is under the warranty. Specifically:

  • Install workmanship. Pitch, alignment, slope to downspouts, end cap miters, inside and outside miter integrity, seam-to-fascia fit. Anything we cut, formed, or joined.
  • Hanger anchoring. Alu-Rex T-Rex hidden hangers at 18-inch spacing on K-style, custom T-wedge fabrication on half-round. Hanger pull-out, hanger spacing failures, fastener-to-rafter integrity.
  • Miter integrity. Inside and outside corners, sealant performance, and joint detail at every gutter intersection.
  • Downspout connections. Outlet drop, downspout-to-gutter joint, elbow connections, strap anchoring, and the transition into underground drainage where applicable.
  • Drainage routing. Schedule 40 PVC gravity routing, virgin HDPE French drain runs, catch basin tie-ins, channel drain installations, pop-up emitter and daylight terminations. Underground integrity and slope.
  • Foundation and footing drainage installed as part of a Gutter Pro scope, including French drains routed away from foundation lines.
  • Fascia and soffit work that is part of the install scope. If we replaced fascia board, installed drip edge, or repaired soffit material to support the gutter run, that workmanship is covered.
  • Gutter guard installation. The labor and install integrity of LeafBlaster Pro, Alu-Rex Double-Pro, and other gutter guards. Manufacturer warranty covers the material; Gutter Pro workmanship warranty covers our install.
  • Copper install workmanship. Seamless copper gutter formation, copper hanger compatibility, soldered joint quality where applicable.
  • Commercial install workmanship. Same coverage applies to commercial K-style, box, and half-round scopes including penetration and rooftop drainage interfaces.

What the Warranty Does Not Cover

Honest disclosure matters. Here is what falls outside the warranty so there are no surprises if you ever need to file a claim.

  • Acts of god beyond reasonable hurricane preparation. Direct hits from named hurricanes that produce structural roof damage, falling trees that crush gutter runs, lightning strikes, and tornado or microburst events. We design to hurricane-grade install spec, but no install survives a tree through the soffit.
  • Damage from third-party work or third-party trades. Ladder damage from another contractor, roofers walking on or denting the gutter during a reroof, solar installers detaching hangers to access fascia, painters spraying or scratching the finish. If somebody else damaged it, their insurance handles it.
  • Modifications made by others after the install. Anyone who cuts into, adds to, or reroutes the Gutter Pro install without notifying us voids the workmanship warranty on the modified section. We can come back and re-warranty corrected work case by case.
  • Normal wear of debris-trapping installations without maintenance. Gutters without gutter guards still need periodic cleaning. Clogged gutters from years of unattended pine straw or oak debris are a maintenance issue, not a workmanship defect.
  • Damage caused by abuse. Hitting the gutter with a ladder, kayak, vehicle, or piece of yard equipment. Hanging objects (string lights, holiday decor) using fasteners that damage the gutter face.
  • Pre-existing fascia or structural rot that was not part of our scope. We will flag rot we find at the quote and write it into scope if you want us to handle it. If you opt to leave it, we cannot warranty the hanger anchoring into rotted material.
  • Settled or shifted foundation conditions after install that change the surrounding grade or routing requirements beyond the original scope. We will come look and quote remediation, but the original scope is not warrantied against future grade changes.
  • Normal patina on copper. Copper develops a natural patina over time. That is a material characteristic, not a defect.
If a claim falls outside the warranty, we will still come look. Often a non-warranty issue has a simple paid-service fix. We are not interested in walking away from a customer over a technicality.

Covered vs Not Covered at a Glance

A clearer side-by-side for fast reference.

Item Covered Under Workmanship Warranty Not Covered (Other Path Required)
Hanger pull-out Yes, if anchored into sound material by our crew. We come back and re-anchor at no charge. Pre-existing rot or structural decay outside our scope that we flagged and were not contracted to repair.
Leaky miter Yes. Inside and outside miter joints are our workmanship. We come back, reseal or rebuild. Sealant failure caused by third-party paint or chemicals applied to the gutter exterior after install.
Underground PVC failure Yes, if the Schedule 40 PVC we installed has cracked, separated at a joint, or failed at a fitting. Crushed pipe from a heavy vehicle driving over an unprotected section we did not bury under driveway-rated detail.
French drain clog Coverage on install integrity (slope, fabric, gravel envelope). Diagnostic and remediation included if our install caused it. Massive root invasion from a tree planted directly over the French drain after our install.
Hurricane damage Most named-storm wind events leave Gutter Pro installs intact. If a hanger or miter fails post-storm, we evaluate. Direct hurricane structural damage (roof loss, tree-through-soffit, microburst). Homeowner insurance is the path.
Gutter guard performance Install workmanship by Gutter Pro is covered. Material performance is covered by the manufacturer (40-50 year). Damage from foot traffic on the roof or aggressive pressure washing into the guard.
Paint or finish Aluminum finish covered by the aluminum mfg warranty (typically 20-30 years on paint). Scratches, dents, or finish damage from later third-party work on or near the gutter.
Soffit and fascia work Yes, if part of the Gutter Pro install scope. Drip edge, fascia repair, and soffit support that we performed. Soffit and fascia damage from causes outside our scope (roof leaks, pest intrusion, pre-existing rot).

Manufacturer Warranties Layered on Top

The Gutter Pro workmanship warranty covers how we install. Manufacturer warranties cover what the materials themselves do over time. The two warranties stack, and on a Gutter Pro install you get both. Here is how the manufacturer side works on the products we use.

LeafBlaster Pro: 40-Year Manufacturer Warranty

LeafBlaster Pro stainless micromesh gutter guards carry a 40-year manufacturer warranty against material defect, frame failure, and mesh degradation. As an authorized installer we register your install with the manufacturer at install time. Documentation goes with your warranty packet.

Alu-Rex Double-Pro: Up to 40-Year Manufacturer Warranty

Alu-Rex Double-Pro continuous gutter covers carry a manufacturer warranty of up to 40 years depending on the specific product line. Alu-Rex T-Rex hidden hangers are also covered. Coverage details are on the manufacturer datasheet provided at install.

Aluminum Gutter Material

Coil aluminum used for seamless gutters carries a manufacturer warranty on the painted finish, typically in the 20 to 30-year range depending on the color line. The aluminum itself is corrosion-resistant in Northeast Florida service life, including coastal exposure, when paired with stainless or corrosion-rated fasteners.

Copper Gutter Material

Copper is essentially permanent. Copper gutters develop a natural patina over time (often desired aesthetically) and have a documented service life of 75-plus years. There is no meaningful manufacturer paint warranty because copper is unpainted. Soldered joint integrity is covered under the Gutter Pro workmanship warranty.

Schedule 40 PVC Drainage

Schedule 40 PVC is rated for 50-plus year service life when installed correctly. Manufacturer warranties typically cover material defect for the pipe and fittings. Gutter Pro install workmanship (slope, joint integrity, fitting tie-ins) is covered under the lifetime workmanship warranty.

Virgin HDPE French Drain Pipe

Virgin HDPE 4-inch 8-slotted pipe used for French drains carries long manufacturer service-life ratings. We use virgin HDPE only, never recycled corrugated. Install integrity (slope, fabric, gravel envelope, daylight termination) is covered under workmanship.

How to File a Warranty Claim

The process is straightforward by design. Three steps.

  1. Call 904-304-3199 or email Info@GutterProFlorida.com. Describe what you are seeing. Photos help if you can attach them to the email. You can also book a service appointment through the Jobber link.
  2. Owner Albert assesses. For most warranty claims Albert comes out personally, evaluates the issue, and confirms whether it falls under the workmanship warranty, the manufacturer warranty, or outside the warranty entirely. For straightforward cases the assessment can happen over photos.
  3. Repair or replacement at no cost. If the claim is workmanship, we repair or replace the affected work at no charge under the warranty. If the claim is manufacturer, we coordinate the manufacturer claim and handle the labor side. If the claim is outside the warranty, we quote remediation honestly so you can decide.
Warranty service is dispatched as quickly as scheduling allows. For urgent issues (active water intrusion, hurricane-related concerns), we prioritize the schedule and aim to be on the property within days.

Why We Offer a Lifetime Workmanship Warranty

Confidence in the install model. The lifetime warranty is not a marketing slogan; it is a function of how we build the work.

Owner-led every project

The same Albert who walks the quote installs the system and answers the warranty call. Skin in the game by design.

NDS Certified drainage

Real hydrology training means drainage is engineered, not improvised. Engineered systems are warrantiable systems.

Seamless gutters formed on site eliminate roughly 80 percent of failure points (field joints) by definition. Less to warranty against.

No subcontracting

The same in-house crew installs every job. No anonymous trucks. No quality drift between sales and install.

Premium materials and methods

6, 7, and 8-inch profiles only. Schedule 40 PVC and virgin HDPE drainage. Alu-Rex T-Rex hidden hangers. Stainless or corrosion-rated fasteners. Premium materials carry premium warranties.

What "Lifetime" Actually Means

Honest definition matters. Many lifetime warranties in this industry are written so vaguely that the contractor can wriggle out of any claim. Gutter Pro defines lifetime clearly.

The Gutter Pro lifetime workmanship warranty covers the work for the functional service life of the home as long as Gutter Pro Florida remains in operation, and as long as the original homeowner who purchased the install owns the home. If the home is sold, the workmanship warranty can be transferred to the new owner with notification (one-time transfer; details below). If Gutter Pro ceases operation, manufacturer warranties on materials and gutter guards remain in force directly with the manufacturer.

That is standard lifetime warranty terminology in the gutter and drainage industry. The key terms are spelled out clearly, in writing, on every warranty document we deliver at install. No fine print designed to deny claims.

What Happens If You Sell the Home

The Gutter Pro lifetime workmanship warranty includes a one-time transfer option to a new owner if the home is sold. The transfer requires notification within 60 days of the sale closing and a brief inspection of the install to confirm the system is in condition consistent with our original install. The transferred warranty continues for the new owner under the same coverage terms.

This is a meaningful differentiator at resale. The warranty becomes part of the value of the home: a buyer is purchasing a documented, transferable workmanship warranty on the gutter and drainage system, layered with manufacturer warranties on materials. Many of our customers reference it during home sale negotiations.

Warranty FAQ

What does the lifetime workmanship warranty cover?
Everything Gutter Pro installs, fabricates, fastens, routes, or modifies as part of our scope: pitch and alignment, hanger anchoring, miter integrity, downspout connections, Schedule 40 PVC and virgin HDPE drainage routing, French drains, catch basins, channel drains, fascia and soffit work in our scope, and gutter guard install workmanship. If it is on the Gutter Pro invoice, it is under the warranty.
What does the warranty not cover?
Acts of god beyond reasonable hurricane preparation (direct hits, tree-through-soffit, lightning), damage from third-party trades (ladders, roofers, solar installers, painters), modifications made by others after install, normal wear from unmaintained debris buildup without gutter guards, abuse, pre-existing structural rot that we flagged and were not contracted to repair, and post-install grade or foundation shifts beyond original scope.
How long is the warranty?
Lifetime workmanship - the functional service life of the home, as long as Gutter Pro Florida remains in operation and as long as the original homeowner who purchased the install owns the home. Manufacturer warranties on materials and gutter guards run on the manufacturer's terms (up to 50 years on LeafBlaster Pro).
What happens if I sell the house?
The workmanship warranty includes a one-time transfer option to a new owner. Transfer requires notification within 60 days of the sale closing and a brief inspection to confirm the install is in condition consistent with our original work. The transferred warranty continues under the same coverage terms for the new owner.
Is the warranty transferable?
Yes, one-time transfer to a new owner at sale, with notification within 60 days and a brief inspection. The transferable warranty often factors into home sale negotiations as a documented value-add.
What is the manufacturer warranty on LeafBlaster Pro?
LeafBlaster Pro stainless micromesh gutter guards carry a 40-year manufacturer warranty covering material defect, frame failure, and mesh degradation. As an authorized installer, Gutter Pro registers your install with the manufacturer at install time and provides documentation in your warranty packet.
What is the manufacturer warranty on Alu-Rex?
Alu-Rex Double-Pro continuous gutter covers carry a manufacturer warranty of up to 40 years depending on the specific product line. Alu-Rex T-Rex hidden hangers are also covered. Specific terms are on the manufacturer datasheet provided at install.
Does the warranty cover hurricane damage?
Most named-storm wind events leave Gutter Pro installs intact because we design and install to hurricane-grade spec - hidden hangers at 18-inch spacing, stainless or corrosion-rated fasteners, anchored into rafter tails. Post-storm hanger or miter failures are evaluated under workmanship. Direct hurricane structural damage (roof loss, tree-through-soffit, microburst) is a homeowner-insurance path, not a workmanship issue.
Does the warranty cover acts of god?
Acts of god beyond reasonable hurricane preparation are excluded: direct hurricane structural damage, falling trees, lightning strikes, tornadoes, and microbursts. We design and install to hurricane-grade standards so the install itself usually survives the storm, but no install survives a tree through the soffit. Insurance is the right path for those events.
What is the difference between workmanship warranty and material warranty?
Workmanship warranty covers how we install - the labor, the methods, the fasteners, the joints, the slope, the anchoring. Material warranty covers what the materials themselves do over time - paint finish, mesh integrity, material defect. The Gutter Pro lifetime workmanship warranty layers on top of manufacturer material warranties so you get both.
How do I file a warranty claim?
Call 904-304-3199 or email Info@GutterProFlorida.com. Describe what you are seeing - photos help if you can attach them. Owner Albert assesses, confirms whether the claim is workmanship, manufacturer, or outside the warranty, and dispatches repair or replacement at no cost if it is workmanship.
How fast do you respond to warranty claims?
Most warranty claims are evaluated within a few business days. Urgent issues (active water intrusion, hurricane-related concerns) are prioritized and we aim to be on the property within days. Owner Albert handles the assessment personally for most claims.
Do you charge for warranty repairs?
No. Repairs covered under the lifetime workmanship warranty are performed at no charge. We do not charge a trip fee, a diagnostic fee, or a labor surcharge for warranty work. If the issue turns out to be outside the warranty, we will tell you honestly and quote remediation - you decide whether to proceed.
Do I need to maintain the gutters to keep the warranty?
Reasonable maintenance is expected on any gutter system - clearing of debris periodically if there are no gutter guards, and trimming back vegetation that would otherwise drop heavy debris into the system. With LeafBlaster Pro or Alu-Rex Double-Pro guards installed, the maintenance burden is minimal. Neglected unmaintained gutters that clog solid from years of unattended debris is a maintenance issue, not a workmanship defect.
Do gutter guards void or affect the warranty?
No. Gutter guards installed by Gutter Pro are part of our scope and are covered. Install workmanship is under the lifetime workmanship warranty. Material performance (mesh integrity, frame durability) is under the manufacturer warranty - up to 40 years on LeafBlaster Pro and Alu-Rex. The two warranties stack.
What if I add solar panels later?
Solar installation often requires detaching hangers, modifying drip edge, or routing around the gutter. We recommend notifying us before the solar install so we can coordinate with the solar installer to preserve the warranty. Solar-related modifications made by others without notification will void the workmanship warranty on the modified section. We can re-warranty corrected work case by case.
What if I get my gutters cleaned by another company?
Routine gutter cleaning by another company does not affect the warranty. Damage caused during cleaning by another company (ladder dents, pulled hangers, broken miters, damaged guards) is that company's liability, not a Gutter Pro warranty event. We are happy to evaluate post-cleaning damage and tell you honestly whether it is workmanship or third-party.
Does the warranty cover yard drainage?
Yes, when the yard drainage was installed by Gutter Pro as part of our scope. French drains, channel drains, catch basins, regrade work, pop-up emitters, and Schedule 40 PVC routing are all covered under workmanship. Pre-existing yard drainage we did not install is not covered.
Does the warranty cover French drains?
Yes. French drains installed by Gutter Pro using virgin HDPE 4-inch 8-slotted pipe, proper gravel envelope, and filter fabric are covered under the lifetime workmanship warranty. Coverage includes slope integrity, fabric placement, gravel envelope, daylight termination, and tie-ins. Massive root invasion from trees planted directly over the drain after install is an excluded case.
Does the warranty cover sump pumps?
Install workmanship on sump pumps and related drainage tied to a Gutter Pro scope is covered. Mechanical sump pump units themselves carry the pump manufacturer's warranty. We coordinate manufacturer claims and handle the install side under our warranty.
Does the warranty cover soffit and fascia repair?
Yes, when the soffit and fascia work is part of the Gutter Pro install scope - drip edge installation, fascia board replacement to support gutter hangers, soffit repair tied to install support. Damage to soffit or fascia from unrelated causes (roof leaks, pest intrusion, pre-existing rot outside our scope) is not covered.
Does the warranty cover copper installs?
Yes. Copper gutter installs are covered under the same lifetime workmanship warranty as aluminum installs. Soldered joint integrity, hanger compatibility, and install workmanship are warrantied. Copper develops a natural patina over time - that is a material characteristic, not a warranty event.
Does the warranty cover commercial installs?
Yes. Commercial K-style, box, and half-round scopes including penetration and rooftop drainage interfaces carry the same lifetime workmanship warranty. Specific terms for large commercial scopes and property management contracts are documented at install with the property owner or facility manager.
How long has Gutter Pro been honoring this warranty?
Since founding. The lifetime workmanship warranty is a foundational part of how the business operates. Customers from our earliest installs still call us for warranty service when something needs attention, and we still answer. The 164-plus Google reviews include customers who returned for warranty service years after the original install.
Can I get the warranty in writing?
Yes. Every Gutter Pro install includes a written warranty document delivered at install completion. The document spells out coverage terms, exclusions, transfer process, and contact information for filing a claim. You should not accept a verbal warranty from any contractor.
What is included in the warranty document?
The written warranty document includes: coverage scope (what is covered), exclusions (what is not), manufacturer warranty references with attached datasheets for LeafBlaster Pro, Alu-Rex, and applicable materials, the transfer process at sale, the claims process and contact information, and the install scope description tying the warranty to your specific project.
Do you provide a warranty certificate?
Yes. Customers receive a warranty certificate at install completion alongside the manufacturer datasheets for any LeafBlaster Pro or Alu-Rex products installed. Many customers file the certificate with their homeowner documents for resale reference.
Can I see a sample warranty before signing?
Yes. Ask at the quote and we will provide a sample warranty document. Reviewing warranty terms before signing is good practice - we encourage it on any contractor's quote, not just ours.
What if Gutter Pro goes out of business?
If Gutter Pro Florida ever ceased operation, manufacturer warranties on materials (LeafBlaster Pro 40-year, Alu-Rex up to 40-year, aluminum paint finish 20-30 year) remain in force directly with the manufacturer. The workmanship side of the warranty is tied to the contractor and would not transfer to another company. Our operating record (164-plus reviews, family-owned, NDS Certified) speaks to long-term stability.
What happens after I file a claim?
Owner Albert reviews the claim, often within 24 to 48 hours. For most claims Albert comes out personally to assess; for straightforward issues the assessment can happen over photos. If the claim is workmanship, repair or replacement is scheduled at no cost. If the claim is manufacturer, we coordinate the manufacturer claim and handle labor. If the claim is outside the warranty, we tell you honestly and quote remediation if you want it.
Who comes out for warranty work?
The same in-house Gutter Pro crew that performs new installs. Owner Albert handles the assessment personally for most warranty claims and is on site for the repair on larger scopes. We do not subcontract warranty work.
Can a competitor honor my Gutter Pro warranty?
No. Workmanship warranties are not transferable between contractors because the warranty is tied to the original installer's accountability for their own work. Manufacturer warranties on materials and gutter guards remain in force directly with the manufacturer regardless of which contractor handles the labor side. If you ever need warranty service and Gutter Pro is on the warranty document, call us at 904-304-3199.
